It caused a movement on social media with people
releasing memes and tweets in a bid to ‘help’ find the Calvin Klein
dress that was said to be worth $150,000. Well according to TMZ,
the dress has been found. More accurately, the dress was returned by the
person who took it in the first place.
TMZ reports that they got a
tip and call from the person who stole the dress, after he tried to sell off two
of the 6000 pearls used to embellish the dress and was told that the
pearls were fake. Now, a source directly connected with the
Women’s Creative Director of Calvin Klein, Francisco Costa, has come
forward to say that Calvin Klein never presented the dress as ‘real’ or
‘fake’.
She spoke to TMZ saying “Did anyone ever say they were real from
Calvin Klein? I always assumed everyone knew they were fake, but I guess
not. Do they really make dresses out of real jewels since Cleopatra
died?”
