President Goodluck Jonathan |
The President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday shared his thoughts on the controversial dumping of the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo, stating
that he did not feel any difference as Obasanjo had already fired so
many stingers that it no longer meant anything. The president made this known in
the course of an interview with Edward Dickson, Sina Oladeinde, Debo
Abdulai, Lasisi Olagunji and Taiwo Adisa of Nigerian Tribune at the
State House, Marina, Lagos.

Gbagbo had tried to install in Cote d’Ivoire before he was forced out,
explaining that he (President Jonathan) was even a major factor in
ousting Gbagbo from power. In the course of the interview, Mr.
President touched on a number of issues, including his bid for
re-election, the agricultural reforms of his administration, his rating
of the All progressives Congress presidential candidate, General
