President's Easter Message through Facebook

My dear friends. As we celebrate Easter and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I want to celebrate all Nigerians for keeping faith with democracy which is the only vehicle for the continuous growth and stability of our dear nation. Easter is the culmination of the Lenten season, a time to imbibe Christ's teachings of reconciliation with God and each other. This year’s celebration of Easter is taking place at a period of very critical national choices and decisions, during which we must all be prepared and willing to make sacrifices for greater unity, peace, political stability and progress in our beloved country. As a nation, we must accept that the Presidential elections are behind us and reconcile our differences as children born from the womb of one mother, Nigeria. I am confident that we will do this. The Chosen One from God- Linda Ikeji Blog Reader

So this afternoon I was going through Linda Ikeji Blog and I saw this news on her blog so I decided to share with you guys. She claimed she saw a mail sent to her by a lindaikeji blog reader and the mail reads thus, "I stepped outside my house at Mobil road close to Eleganza Gardens Lekki just after Buhari was declared president, I looked up to the sky and saw this. You may confirm this. It happened just after 8pm" the reader said.

I personally find this very funny, so people Just have to tag the president-elect's victory to everything. If we could remember too, Rev. father Mbaka claims Buhari's victory is a sign of him being a true prophet. Please let us support Buhari to bring us the change we have long clamoured for and stop this superfluous exaggeration of things.  Nigeria with its spirituality.

I am a true prophet of God- Rev fr Mbaka.

The following were the statements made by Rev. father Mbaka of the Adoration Monastary, Enugu congratulating the president-elect, Buhari on his victory. He also went ahead to confirm himself as a true prophet of God. The statement was signed by his spokesman, Maximus Ugwuoke which reads thus;

"It is with vindictive joy and glory to God that the Adoration Ministry, the nation and indeed the world saw the fulfillment of Fr. Mbaka’s New Year prophesy of change with the miraculous, victorious emergence of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari at the March 28 polls as the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We wish to restate that before President Goodluck became the President of this country, Fr. Mbaka prophesied it in his message titled ‘Okolo’. Today again, Buhari’s victory among other lessons it portends for Nigerians has once more confirmed to all and sundry that Fr. Mbaka is indeed a true Prophet of God and that his New Year message was indeed from the Oracle of the Holy Spirit as he declared. The ministry with magnanimous heart holds no grudges against anyone who attacked it in one way or the other at the rage of the controversies surrounding Fr. Mbaka’s message and view their actions as being orchestrated by their misconstruing of Fr. Mbaka’s prophetic calling. The Ministry joins the rest of Nigerians to congratulate Muhammadu Buhari as God’s chosen instrument of change to tackle the myriads of problems facing Nigeria and pray God to endow him with the wisdom to go about this onerous task.”

Congratulations to Yobo and Adaeze

So a new bundle of joy have been added to the Yobo's family. Finally, Yobo's wife, Adaeze have put to bed and the family is in a state of celebration right now. This would be the second child for the family, after their first child, Joey. Let me use this opportunity to say a big congratulations to the family. I am very sure many of Yobo's fans would be happy right now.

Congratulatory Messages Pour in for President-elect Gen. Buhari

Lots of congratulatory messages have been coming in for the president-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. Governors, celebrities and Nigerians at large have been felicitating with the president-elect. 

The outgoing president, Goodluck Jonathan sent in his congratulations by giving Gen. Buhari a call at 5:15pm even before the final collation of  the results. This move have been praised around the world and by Nigerians who sees the president as a hero. He has indeed delivered on his promise of conducting a free and fair election and also to concede defeat is something that has even received more appraisal. Many had initially feared that he may not do so and we could be repeating the Ouattara-Gbagbo incident. Nigeria has set an example as the giant of Africa and I believe many African leaders would emulate this act too.

Celebrities also sent in their congratulatory message. The likes of Davido have been spotted with broom, a symbol of celebrations while Ini edo sent in her congratulatory message through her twitter handle. 

Gov. Fayose of Ekiti state have also praised Nigerians for being democratic in the past presidential election and that the past presidential election have shown that democracy has finally come to stay in Nigeria, he further advised Nigerians to accept the results with good heart irrespective of there religion ethnics and tribe. Gov. Fayose congratulated Gen. Buhari for being a resilience and dogged fighter.

Atiku also took to his twitter handle to express his hearty congratulations to His Excellency, General Muhammadu Buhari, for being elected the next president of our beloved county, Nigeria. He also thanked Jonathan for conducting a historic election and that history would be kind to him by not interfering with the wishes of Nigerians.

Gov. Adams Oshiomole of Edo state also sent his congratulatory message and even took it further by declaring a public holiday in Edo state yesterday. Wife of the president, Patience Jonathan also sent her congratulatory message to the wife of the president-elect, Aisha Buhari.

The international community have also witnessed congratulatory messages with the likes of Barrack Obama, his British counterpart and Ban Ki Moon congratulating the president-elect and also Jonathan for the peaceful conduction of the elections.

As more congratulatory messages comes in, we would let you know. Let me also use this opportunity to congratulate Gen. Buhari. Nigerians have voted you sir because we believe you would deliver on your promises of tackling corruption, security, amidst others, in our dear motherland. I would therefore like to say to Nigerians that this is a time to unite and put off our religious and ethnic differences. Let us support and embrace the change. God bless Nigeria.
